TFPredictions Java 2 based Software is the analysis tool you must own.

If you want to compete in today’s Track and Field environment, you need the ability
to objectively analyze your performance and determine your fitness level.
Whether you are trying to beat the competition or your own ‘best’,
you also need efficient and accurate training information.

What is TFPredictions Software ?

TFPredictions Software is a scientific biomechanical approach primarily developed for Track and Field.
It provides training plans, provides and logs training sessions, and evaluates training effectiveness for selected events.
The approach analyzes athlete’s performance, defines specific training goals to improve performance,
and evaluates actual training to reach these goals. It will motivate an athlete by predicting FUTURE performance.

It is an AID for coaches and athletes.

Applicable for ALL athlete ages and skill levels.

What is the General Training Approach ?

• Create a Customized Training Plan.
• Create Training Sessions based on the Training Plan.
• Follow each Training Session when Training.
• Record results of each Training Session.
• Evaluate results of the Training Sessions.
• Modify Training Plan or Training Sessions as needed.

How does TFPredictions Software Work ?

TFPredictions Software uses current data supplied by the coach/athlete.
This data is used to provide a precise dynamic simulation of an event at a ‘selected performance level’.
Results from the simulation are then used to provide specific training recommendations and evaluations.
For more specific information on how TFPredictions Software works see “Example Steps for Set-Up and Use” below.

Who should own TFPredictions Software ?

Any track and field coach or athlete interested in improving an athlete's performance should own this software.
TFPredictions Software can be used for almost any track and field event including:
Track –
Sprints, Distances, Long Distances, Hurdles, and Relays
Field -
Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, and Hammer Throw

• Recommended Training level data provides specific values for each competitor and event(s) selected.

• Recommended Training levels provided for: Race Interval Training, Race Long Distance Training, Hurdle Training,
Strength (Weight) Training, Jump Distance or Height Training, and Throw Distance Training.

• Event Specific Weight Training Levels are based on 1-RM Percent Load and Repetitions Guidelines.

• Software Simulation and Training Evaluation functions allow the user to evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions.

• Training Evaluation data can be analyzed for specific trends from training session results.

• Training Evaluation data obtained from training session results are automatically available upon selection.

• Training Evaluation data obtained from training session results can also be entered manually.

• Training plans can be created, edited, and saved for each individual athlete.

• Training plans can be customized and structured per Peridization Training Theory.

• Individual training sessions can be recorded, edited, and saved for each individual athlete.

• Included Sample Training elements provide a convenient reference for creating sessions that meet an athlete's performance goals.

• Competition results can be created, edited, and saved for each individual athlete.

• Training Fitness data provided such as estimated VO2Max, Target Heart Rate, and Total Calories Burnt.

Analysis

• Event Performance Analysis provided for each competitor and event(s) selected.

• Event Prediction Analysis provided for each competitor and event(s) selected.

• Analysis results are highly accurate and are based on athlete information provided
such as height, arm length, leg length, foot size, weight, and measured speed for designated distances.

• Change event and athlete related parameters to determine how athlete performance is affected.

• Analysis functionality provides repeatable "What If" scenarios that can uncover problems or areas of improvement.

• Estimate the athlete's specific event performance (such as actual Speed, Strength, and Power) using supplied data.

More Features:

• Compatible with and extends the capability of GPS Sports Training Devices.

• Can be used with Windows or Macintosh OSX Operating Systems (JRE 1.4.2 or Later).

• Simple Installation and Use - User documentation is provided.

• Results can be printed or saved to a file.

• User Manual included.

• Individual Training Session Elements included.

Steps for Set-up and Use of TFPredictions software

Set-up:

1. Enter known physical characteristics and previous event performance results for a specific athlete.

2. Using software tools that are included, create additional required data.

USE:

1. Provide event performance results for the athlete selected using software simulation and previously stored data.
If required, adjust stored data and perform software re-simulation to match actual event performance results.

2. Selection of the desired performance (goals) for the athlete.
This is obtained from parameter adjustments and software simulation.

3. Software determines recommended training levels to meet the goals of the athlete.

4. Create a training plan using analysis and recommended training levels.
Supplied session training elements can be used.

5. Create a training session or series of sessions from the training plan.

6. Log actual training session results for each athlete.

7. Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session using the software and session results.
Software is used during the evaluation.

8. Modify the training plan or future training sessions as needed.
